Forest Run+ Burpee Penalty

Trail repeats through the forest with burpee sets at checkpoints (penalty simulation). Teaches pacing, terrain awareness, and heart-rate control so you can pay a penalty and still surge to the next obstacle.

Trail Surge RepeatsBurpee Checks

Timed loops on mixed forest singletrack with marked burpee stations to simulate obstacle penalties. You’ll practice steady pacing, terrain reading, and heart-rate control—then accelerate cleanly out of each burpee set to rebuild speed and carry momentum to the next obstacle.

How is it structured?

Example block: 800–1200 m trail loop → 10 burpees → repeat 4–6 times at a sustainable pace.

Is this workout too taxingduring regular training weeks?

No. We scale interval length, burpee counts, and total rounds to your phase and fitness. The goal is aerobic control and clean mechanics—not redlining. Expect steady pacing, strict form, and planned recoveries so you leave feeling trained, not drained.

What shoesshould I wear?

Trail shoes with decent lugs. We brief footing, downhill braking, and safe passing lines.
